How to Transfer Data Contacts from Galaxy S6 to S7/S7 Edge

Now that my AT&T S7S7 Edge is on the way, I've been looking for the best way to get all my data and contacts from my S6/S6 Edge to my new S7/S7 Edge. I've found several writeups and videos, but most are a couple of years old and some require rooting, which I'd rather not get into. Some of the guides I've found require use of several apps to get everything from old Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge to Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge.

When I moved from my Samsung S6 to my S7 Edge. I started to setup my Galaxy S7 and it gave me the option to move from my old device. I touched them together and it logged in to my Gmail accounts and set all my apps to download automatically. I used Samsung Data Transfer to move my old Samsung s6 contacts and other data over.

This free and simple Samsung Data Transfer software enables mobile phone data transfer between one phone to another. And it supports Android phones for Samsung Galaxy S, HTC One, Motorola Droid, LG Pro, Sony Xperia, Huawei Mate, ZTE, Oppo Find 7 and other Android phone. With the help of this Samsung Data Transfer, you can complete the data transfer work directly. Sincerely I hope those can help you.
