How to Copy SMS Text Messages from S4/S5 to S7/S7 Edge

Directly Transfer SMS Text Messages from S4/S5 to S7/S7 Edge

Step 1. Start Samsung Transfer

Before you use this application, you should prepare a computer and two cables. Then, download Samsung Transfer in your computer. Next, install and launch it, you'll see the primary window as follows, including “Phone to Phone Transfer”,“Restore From Backups”，“Back Up Your Phone” and “Erase Your Old Phone”. Next, click "Phone to Pone Transfer" and press "Start" to go on.

Step 2. Connect Your Samsung Phones to Your Computer

Please connect your phones to your computer with the USB lines. Your old phone will be displayed on the left, and the S7 is on the right. If you want to change the direction of transfer, just simple click the "Flip" button.

Step 3. Transfer Your Message to S7

The program will scan the files you can transfer and display in the middle. Select the SMS you want to transfer and click on the "Start Transfer". Wait a little while, when the message is transferred successfully, click on "OK".

Note: In the whole process of the transfer, please ensure that connection between phone and computer is normal.
